Common Roof Repair Problems in Jamestown

Leaks often start at the flashing around chimneys and vents, or at rubber pipe boots that crack as they age. Wind from a passing thunderstorm can lift or tear off shingles along ridges and edges, and freeze-thaw cycles during a Missouri winter can widen small gaps until water gets through, so a roof inspection after a Missouri storm can catch problems early. On exposed-fastener metal roofs, the rubber washers under each screw wear out over time, and panels expand and contract enough to loosen fasteners.

We can usually address these issues with a targeted roof repair when they’re caught early. As part of our roofing services in Jamestown, we can inspect problems like water stains, damp attic insulation, or missing shingles to identify the source of the damage and recommend the appropriate repair.

Emergency Roof Repair and Free Tarping

When a storm tears open part of a roof, rain can soak insulation and drywall quickly, so the first step is covering the opening. Our emergency roof repair service is available to Jamestown homeowners, and we’ll tarp the damaged area at no cost when Resolve Roofing is doing the permanent repair. Emergency repairs carry an $800 minimum.

If the damage can wait a day or two, we’ll schedule a free inspection within 24 hours of your call. You’ll get an explanation of what’s damaged, what the roof repair involves, and what it will cost before any work begins, and if the damage is too widespread to fix, we’ll explain whether replacing the whole roof makes more sense.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I'm completely satisfied with Resolve Roofing. They did excellent work in replacing my gutters and the crew was friendly. Also, they were careful not to smash any plants and flowers in my garden. When I thought we had a problem about a week after they finished the job, they came right out immediately to solve it. (There wasn't any.)

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our service chimney on our lovely 87 year old home developed a leak around it that was causing problems with some electrical lines. Taylor was very clear in explaining what could be done, listened to our concerns and met deadlines. Wayde was also helpful and even ended up getting the work done a day earlier than planned. Conveniently, the day the work was done we had an inch and a half of rain in about an hour which was just the test we wanted to see. The chimney is dry as can be! We are so happy to stop worrying about having this repair done. I would recommend Resolve to anyone needing prompt, professional, competent roof repair! Thanks guys!

Our roof repair work in Jamestown covers architectural, premium luxury, and impact-resistant asphalt shingles, plus corrugated and exposed-fastener steel roofing. Matching new shingles to an existing roof takes care, because color and profile vary between manufacturers and product lines, and the same attention to detail runs through our full range of residential roofing services in Jamestown.

As an Owens Corning Preferred contractor, a Malarkey Emerald Pro contractor, and GAF Certified, we work with all three brands and look for the closest available match. On metal roofs, we replace worn fasteners, reseal laps and flashing, and swap out damaged panels.
